A silent retreat, the home has a calming effect on one's being. It is a perfect place to unwind and go on an inward journey. Set amidst a lush agricultural farm, the home is situated away from the main Sawantwadi town's hustle and bustle. As the name 'Nandan' suggests, a paradise, indeed.

AMENITIES
An old 'Shet Ghar' - Farm House, complete with mud walls, and terracotta tiled roof, has been conserved to suit modern requirements while retaining the old world charm. The home consists of one spacious bedroom with an attached quaint verandah. The toilette cum bathroom area is very tastefully decorated complete with hot and cold water facilities. The kitchen rests beautifully a little separate from the main home. The lawns provide the guests with an opportunity to have their meals in the natural ambience.

THE HOSTS
Amruta, fondly called Ammu by her family and friends, is passionate about plants which led her to complete her graduation in agricultural studies. She was lucky to have met… Ashish with the similar interest. Nandan farms reflects the Padgaonkar couple's passion. Through the home stay opportunity, the couple wants to develop agri tourism. The Padgaonkar's are young, ever smiling, loving couple full of positive energy and enjoy entertaining guests at their home.

DAY EXCURSIONS
Sawantwadi is a historical town. The town itself provides lot of sight seeing opportunities like visiting the palace, lake and walk in the market. For nature lovers, Amboli jungles (1 hr) is an ideal place to explore. For those interested in art and craft, can visit Pinguli, tribal art village, and watch the theatrical performance of Chitragathi and shadow puppetry.
