ITINERARY - Day trip @ VEERAPURAM* (28 Kms from Lepakshi)

Mode of transport: Private vehicle (tour starts at Lepakshi) or if a big group**, then Culture Aangan will organize a bus.

● 6:00 hrs: Assembly point is Bangalore. Our logistics and transportation are subjected to bookings and we will keep you informed on any change in the current convergence point. Our tour representative will partner with you for the rest of the day. Stay Relaxed!

● 8:00 hrs: Arrive at Veerapuram. Welcome at Coordinator’s House. The coordinator of Veerapuram Village Tourism Committee will welcome the guests and the guests will be given an orientation into the rural tourism product, its various aspects and the benefits to the community. Snacks and chai will be offered.

● 8:30 hrs: Start of hike to Lakshmi Adinarayan Temple.

● 12:30 hrs: Back to Veerapuram. Refreshment drinks will be served.

● 13:00 hrs: Lunch (If somebody wants to see how the food is made they can)

● 14:00 hrs: The coordinator/guide will escort the guest on the village walk. The guest will go around the village, seeing the painted storks, meeting the villagers and observing the around the village. Following this, the guests will be taken to the farm wherein they will be taken on a vegetable trail, where they can see how different produce grows. The guests can also participate in activities such as milking cows, or sowing/watering the crop.

● 15:30 hrs: Depart from Veerapuram
